Try these relaxation exercises
and get a jump on eye fitness

While the EYESercise® program and EyeRobics book cover the issue in much more depth, following are some simple exercises that can be done throughout the day:



Take a break from close work. Each time you turn a page take a couple seconds to look up from your reading and refocus across the room. Distance focus is a more relaxed focus than close focus.



Cover your eyes with your palms. Rub your hands together to warm them. Then close your eyes and place your palms over your eyes for a quick break. The warmth and darkness relieves tension.



Look out a window. If you're indoors, walk over to the window and look out into the natural bright light. Shift your focus from near objects to distant objects.
